Did you know the military suicide rate is 50% higher than the national average? Our service men and women put their lives on the line, and put their lives on hold to protect our nation, but sadly, when they return to civilian life many are unable to cope with the change. However, three U.S. Army Veterans co-founded Stop Soldier Suicide in 2010, amidst the worst suicide crisis our military has ever seen. After losing friends and fellow service members to suicide, Army veterans Brian Kinsella, Nick Black and Craig Gridelli decided to come together to come up with a proactive solution for military suicide.

They discovered that the key to preventing suicide is to address the issues encountered when transitioning from military to civilian life.

Stop Soldier Suicide works to help the person in several areas:

Mental Health Support

Alternative Therapies

Resources and Referrals

Education and Training

Stop Suicide Suicide has a proactive and disruptive approach, providing personalized care and continued case management.

We can join Stop Soldier Suicide. “The Battalion” is a team of lifesavers standing side-by-side with them to solve this crisis. We can join The Battalion for as little as $10 a month to help our brothers and sisters get their lives back. It matters.
